Graduation was alright, I guess. It basically added up to a day off, so that was neat. I did have a fever the night before, and have been pretty exhausted since, so thats no fun, but graduation, er, excuse me, Promotion was fun, as far as promotions go. Then again, the other one I went to is pretty blurry in my memories, so its not like I can make an accurate comparison.
After that came the dance, where I party-boy'd the principal, who didn't notice (a certain chaperone did, I got away with a warning). I also danced with devon and didn't get kissed. By anyone. What kind of 8th grade dance is that? Anyway, Sean managed to be the only dude in a five (four?) person freak train, and he also got some great shots of everyone there. Especially this one of geoff and gabby. So, that was the dance, in short.
Woohoo! More parties! Despite being physically exhuasted (since I'm still recovering from my 102), I went to another party last night. In short: Swimming, Dancing, and Kissing, in that order. In short: a good party.
Because of certain people who know who they are I showed up late, but whatever, that meant the ice was already broken. I hopped in the pool, swam around, and took part in some of the stupidest water stunts I've ever even heard of. To elaborate: we put a boogie-board on a wet floaty thingy, took a run at the boogie-board, and slid into the pool. Not so bad, but when slip-and-sliding from a running start right next to solid rocks? Bad idea, but we were fine. Until the adults noticed, at which point it ended. Good things never last.
Following that, we messed around in the pool a bit more, then went into the jacuzzi, and played would-you-rather reality, which takes away the whole fun of it, since you have to do one of the things. Hence, no fun. It was the same things over and over, just switching between people. No fun at all, since it was eventually the same people over and over too. Absolutely no fun. That part really sucked. Except when stephanie had to kiss me one the cheek, and she acted like she'd just gotten the goddamn plague. Priceless.
So, pretty much rinse and repeat. Pool a bit, jacuzzi a bit, then came soccer, where I got slapped by stephanie (what else is new) for not being good at a sport I don't play. Soccer was fun anyway. Team bumblebear (whatever team me and sean are on) won. Of course. I chased sean around a bit later, got back in the water, talked about music and danced with devon, hung out with devon by the swings, went back to the water, and went home. Pretty basic.
Oh, and yeah, I got kissed again. Guess who. Go on, guess.
Anyway, now its summer, and I'm still exhausted. And still blogging. Woo hoo!
My mom just left for the east coast with my sister. In ten days, I join them.
